Vanessa Ramirez is a self taught artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her artistic journey began unexpectedly in High School when she took an art class as an elective. It was there she discovered her natural talent for painting, something she hadn’t known she possessed.

Initially exploring various mediums, she quickly found a deep connection with acrylic paints, which became her go-to medium. What started as a high school hobby blossomed into a passion for exploring both abstract and modern expressionism.

With a love for vibrant colors and rich textures, she blends imagination with technique, creating pieces that invite viewers to see the world through her eyes.

Having no formal training, Vanessa relies on intuition, experimentation, and a love for visual storytelling to capture moments in time that feel both personal and universal.
